Welcome to all my new members. Where did everyone come from? I’d like to thank you all for coming along on this crazy ride with me. Yes, I'm so sorry that it's been two months since my last post. But life is not a box of chocolates here. It's more of an experiment in throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks.
It’s been a busy time. I’ve been able to achieve catching a summer cold in the middle of a heatwave. Therefore, my writing has slowed down a bit. Add to that something is going on with my neck, and it's impossible to move my head without pain.
There’s so much going on.
The Rogue and The Rose
is now available on GoodNovel.
One golden Rose. Add in one scheming cocky Rogue wolf. A couple of despicable fathers and a war no one wants. Mayes Grove will never be the same as one pack goes against the other packs for control of it all.
Blue Moon Bed and Breakfast
has ended.
The story might have ended, but don’t worry, Evergreen Grove is a little too ‘special’ to become dull. I hope to shop for a few more books for that soon enough.
Taming the Alpha Twins
has also ended.
We’ll see if more comes from this unusual pack in the future.

Everyone loves the

Another well-loved novel will wrap up most likely in August. The final chapters will be published starting in August.

A little Black River Pack History
This is my first instalment in developing the background and world of A Black River Pack Series. These are little snippets for easy reading and fun facts. We'll see how it's received and after the general world building background is posted. I may be persuaded into writing a little background fiction for my fans. (teaser)
Let me preface this by saying. Yes, there truly is a place called Black River Ontario. It’s in Canada and it’s part of what we fondly call Cottage Country. Lots of small towns exist in this region. Camping, hiking, fishing, cottages, and all manner of outdoor events happen. Now I warn you. This is snow belt country and the black flies will eat you.
So, with that said. It’s part of a huge green belt. With the forest as far as your eyes can see. There are lakes, streams, and rivers dotting the landscape. Things can get lost in these woods, not just people. The natives have stories of many magical beasts. With the settlers came even more tall tales of Fairies, Ghosts, and more. So, what better place for a compound for a rich family to hide a pack of wolf shifters? What local would believe the tourist had seen a giant wolf?
So, there’s the reality of the beautiful lands the Black River Pack calls their home.

Future Plans:
Yes, of course there's future plans. I've a devious mind that's far too active. I've got ideas for several new novels. In August I'm going to see how my publisher likes the idea of the modern wolf shifter moving to the big city. You can dress a Canadian wolf up, but is it really tamed? Stay tuned to find out how this pitch goes.
I have not forgotten those of you that have asked for another A Black River Pack Series novel. I'm trying to work on getting it green lit. Wish me luck. I really do want to write Richard/Max's Story. I do believe you'll love the chaos of the Last Chance Pack and their final chance at a happy ending.
I've also been playing around with the idea of independently publishing a few stories on kindle. Of course, I couldn't use the name Klaira Blains. What I'd love to know. If I did publish under another name. What would you like to see? Spicy werewolves? Hot Vampires? Steamy Fantasy Worlds? Or all of the above? I'll try to post a tiktok and instagram post where you can vote on what kind of story I could write. Don't worry I do have a new pen name. She'll have a page here when the time comes and she'll have a partner in crime. What? Do you think this all comes from my mad little mind? Nay, nay. George Coote, my life partner, my fated mate, and husband eagerly awaits helping me keep my characters on their toes.
